Drew Rubin, Member at Large
Drew Rubin is part of the Maishe family. He is married to Erica and they have four children: Grahm (21), Johanna (19), Violet (8), Harper (6) and I have three older sister Francine, Jo-Ann, Michelle, My Mom and dad were Sidney and Adele Rubin. I have three sisters: Francine, JoAnn and Michelle.
Professionally, Drew is a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of Florida, N.Y., and CA., Chairman, International Society for Autism (ISAresearch.org), and the founder and CEO of New Directions for Young Adults, Inc. (www.NDFYA.com) (2006) He also was the former Chairman of the Florida Department of Health, Board of Psychology (Aug,2013-Aug, 2020).
Drew was a leader of many of NSU’s parenting programs, teaching a variety of classes on behavior management strategies. He has also taught graduate-level courses in child development, infant mental health, and child & adult psychopathology, assessment, and therapeutic intervention. He has lectured widely to community organizations, speaking on issues related to the social and emotional development of individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral disorders, depression, anxiety, and addiction disorders.
